Sarah loves Jesus, her family, reading, and cheese (in that order). She grew up in a pastor/theology professor's home, and she has followed the Lord since a young age — a gift she recognizes and doesn't deserve.

She and her husband of nearly 28 years, Eric, live in Long Beach, CA, where Eric is on staff at a local church and also leads a non-profit ministry for Christian leaders in the city. They have five grown and/or growing children, whom Sarah supervises to greater and lesser success, depending on the moment.

Sarah has an M.A. in Education and teaches part-time while also providing academic and executive skills support. She is passionate about intentional living, the Old Testament, and helping people slow down enough to actually notice their lives.
